Canterbury District Green Party
Canterbury District Green Party were thrilled to demonstrate our support for 'Save our Seas' Whitstable's protest against Southern Water's sewage discharges on Saturday 9th October. The protest consisted of a march along the Whitstable coastline from Tankerton to the Southern Water treatment plant in Swalecliffe.

Also in attendance was Green Party peer and ex-leader, Natalie Bennett (shown above alongside CDGP candidate for the Gorrell Ward by-election, Clare Turnbull), who attended the event to speak alongside local environmental activists such as CEO of Surfers Against Sewage, Hugo Tagholm.
