Despite the growing Climate Crisis, the UK government continues to prioritise power and profit over a sustainable and healthy green future. The conversation surrounding the promotion of a green economy is sadly lacking from parliamentary debate, and this is something the Green Party wants to see changed.
Once they have received over 100,000 signatures, parliamentary petitions must be scheduled for debate in the House of Commons. The petition below, sponsored by Caroline Lucas MP, has to date reached over 50,000 signatures. That means just 50,000 more are required by the 26th September 2021 in order to see this issue discussed in parliament.
